The plans show Grange Park in its early days in 1920 and its current condition. Overall, with several features centralized, the park now provides visitors with a wider variety of refreshing and entertaining experiences, along with new amenities to improve the visitor experience, while some elements remain unchanged.
Regarding visitor experience, two of the three rose gardens at the park's entrances have been centralized, replacing the old fountain that once stood in the center. A similar change has also been made with the scattered seats, which now surround the centrally located rose garden. As another key improvement, the park no longer features a pond for water plants or a glasshouse on its eastern wing; instead, a water feature has been added to the area along Eldon Street. An amphitheater has also been built for concerts, replacing the old stage for musicians on the western side.
This park also provides extra services for visitors. Unlike before, parents can now watch their children play in a designated area, and a café has been added for refreshments. Both amenities are accessible from the entrance on Arnold Avenue, one of the two unchanged entrances. Another service involves parking, with an underground lot that can be accessed from Eldon Street.
