The line graph gives information about the results of a survey on the main reasons people moved to the capital of a particular country.

The graph shows four key motivations for relocating to the capital of a specific country between 2000 and 2015. Overall, moving for education showed the sharpest and most significant increase, followed by employment, whereas the reasons related to visiting loved ones and seeking adventure showed significantly smaller figures and lower growth rates.
The figure for those pursuing education had reached a record high of nearly 90,000 by 2015. This initially rose from about 25,000 (second-ranked), and its growth rate slowed between 2005 and 2010.
The motivation for employment also showed a similar trend, although it was the only category to experience a slight decline. Its initial figure was approximately 60,000, significantly higher than other reasons, which peaked at just over 90,000 in 2010. However, during the last five years of the period, it steadily declined to become the joint-highest rate with those relocating for study.
As for ‘family/friends’ and ‘adventure,’ the figures began at around 10,000 (the lowest counts). The former, however, approximately doubled, while the latter climbed (more gently after 2010) to about 15,000.
